James Allen Hall (Jim) passed away peacefully at home on Friday, February 21, 2025. He was born on February 28, 1938 in New Enterprise, PA, the son of Fred and Mildred Hall.

He is survived by his life partner, Patricia Neil, and siblings, William Hall, Joseph Hall, Nancy Huffman, Ronald Hall, Betty Tilton, Charles Hall, John Hall, Susan McGowan, Michael Hall, Jeffrey Hall, Daniel Hall, Edward Hall, and Nancy Bryant. He was predeceased by a sister Patricia.

He was a member of the American Legion Post 278, Stevensville, B.P.O.Elks #2576, Stevensville, and the United Communities Volunteer Fire Department. He was a member of the Bowie Volunteer Fire Department before moving to Stevensville. He served in the U.S. Army at Fort Bragg, NC. He retired from the Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission. He enjoyed gardening, landscaping, eating crabs and drinking beer.
